Đo Nưng is a grilled restaurant in Vietnam built around a playful linguistic idea. In Vietnamese, the word đo carries a double meaning, referring both to an island and the action of flipping or turning over. This dual meaning becomes the foundation of the brand.

The identity explores this idea through wordplay and flipped language, where familiar phrases are slightly altered to create new, often humorous meanings. For example, ph lòng tái (a well-known Vietnamese dish) can be playfully transformed into phi lòng t, meaning falling in love with me.

This concept extends into the dining experience, where food is literally flipped on the grill, while language is flipped in communication. The result is a brand that feels energetic, witty, and engaging, creating a fun space where young audiences can connect through both food and
playful expression.
